14U SELECTS ENTER FIRST TOURNAMENT OF 2026!

PRIHA'S 14U Selects team entered their first tournament to play teams from the northeast in Danbury, CT.

Coaches Sam DeLeon and Alex DeLeon led the team to a second-place win in the finals against CJR 13UAAA

In what was a first for Puerto Rico, we entered a selects team into a tournament in Danbury, CT to kick of the 2026 year!

Team manager Ivonne Miranda made a success of the team on and off the ice for both athletes and parents.

"I have had the honor to play hockey for PRIHA. I love hockey because it’s fast paced and when I played with PRIHA I got to meet new friends and play great hockey. I loved my times with Puerto Rico and I look forward to playing with Team Puerto Rico for years to come! " -John Quinones

In a surprising twist, CJR wore their alternate USA jerseys to play against Puerto Rico.
